ILN Narbonne 2

Le projet ILN-Narbonne 2 a pour but la poursuite et l’achèvement du projet ILN-Narbonne : il consiste dans la publication du 1er volume des inscriptions latines, soit 220 inscriptions environ, de la cité antique de Narbonne. Ce projet sera mené à bien par le groupe de travail « ILN », mis en place et dirigé depuis huit ans au CCJ puis à ASM par S. AGUSTA-BOULAROT. Ce groupe est constitué d’épigraphistes de renom et de collègues historiens qui ont tous travaillé sur l’épigraphie de la Narbonnaise. Ce projet s’effectue en collaboration étroite avec les conservateurs du futur musée de Narbonne, un des rares en Europe à être centré sur les inscriptions antiques. Son ouverture en 2018 est l’occasion d’étudier à frais nouveaux les inscriptions, de les photographier, et de les publier dans la collection des ILN (Suppl. Gallia).

ILN-Narbonne 2 is the continuation of the ILN Narbonne project The porpuse is is to publish the 1st book of the Latin inscriptions – about 220 inscriptions – of the Roman city of Narbonne. This project will be carried out by the working group «ILN», set up and managed for eight years in the CCJ, then in ASM, by S. AGUSTA-BOULAROT. This group consists of renowned epigraphists and historians : all have worked on the epigraphy of Gallia Narbonensis. This project is done in close collaboration with the curators of the future museum of Narbonne, one of the few in Europe to be centered on ancient inscriptions. Its opening in 2018 is the opportunity to propose a new study of these inscriptions, to photograph them and to publish them in the collection of ILN (Suppl. Gallia)
