Résumé du projet scientifique soutenu de l'Axe 2, POUVOIRS :
SIGSaqqara
Le projet « SIGSaqqara » qui a débuté le 1er juillet 2016 a pour objectif de comprendre la logique de l’occupation spatiale sur le site de Saqqâra du Prédynastique à la fin de l’Ancien Empire. Pour y parvenir, un SIG a été créé afin de répertorier tous les monuments édifiés durant la période étudiée et publiés. L’enregistrement du mobilier découvert dans les différentes structures est également prévu.
Le projet « SIGSaqqara » a encore pour ambition de diffuser en ligne les données pour qu’elles soient disponibles pour le grand public et qu’elles permettent aux différents chercheurs de mener d’autres enquêtes. La définition des modalités d’accessibilité à ces données est en cours.
D’ores et déjà, diverses problématiques sont apparues et des hypothèses de travail commencent à voir le jour. Afin de traiter la documentation enregistrée durant la première année de ce projet, une année supplémentaire serait nécessaire afin de vérifier les hypothèses et d’explorer différentes pistes de travail.
The “SIGSaqqara” project which has begun July 1st, 2016 aims to understand the logic of spatial occupation of the site of Saqqara from the Predynastic to the end of the Old Kingdom. To succeed in doing this work, a GIS was created to list all the monuments built during the period studied and published. The recording of the remains found in the different buildings is also planned.
The “SIGSaqqara” project further has for ambition to spread data online to make them available to the general public and to allow different researchers to conduct further investigations. The definition of accessibility rules to these data is in progress.
Already, various problems have appeared and working hypotheses are beginning to emerge. To process the documentation recorded during the first year of this project, an additional year would be necessary to test hypotheses and explore various working tracks.
